Sharing my happy

November 22, 2016

Yesterday my husband and I shot the first in a series of photos that will be a personal project for us. One that’s been on my heart for a while now and I couldn’t be happier about it — thrilled actually! It’s a collaborative photo series project I call “Title Tracks” that we’ll even be video documenting as we go along so that our children will have this journey to look back on one day and knowing that feels like…flying.

Scott has written the whole story and included behind the scenes photos and the final image at this link https://scottkelby.exposure.co/title-tracks, I hope you’ll go take a look, I’d love to share my happy with you.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

I don’t know the song and I haven’t heard anything by Leonard Cohen, but somehow I imagine him singing when I look at the final image. It has a haunting quality that people have told me they find in Leonard Cohen’s music. Music, and songs in particular, have a unique ability to reach us on a deep level. By interpreting much loved music visually you are sharing the impact each piece has had on you, which is a way of letting your friends get to know you in a unique and powerful way. Creating this project as husband and wife is something that your children will cherish and pass on to their children, but we who know you are privileged to be granted a view into your creative and loving life partnership.

Thank you dear Carolyn — you are so kind and I can only hope my children will feel as you say — it is what I hope for.

    Kalebra,
Love the idea and am anxiously awaiting the next song in the series – will this be a monthly post or more frequent…not like you and Scott don’t have anything else to occupy your time!

Hahaha! Thank you for your enthusiasm John — it’s so encouraging to me! I can’t give you an exact timeline as it has a lot to do with schedules and then finding the right locations and people but we are actively trying to coordinate all of those things so, hopefully sooner rather than later. 😉

I absolutely adore this idea! What a fun idea, a fun husband that you work so well with, and a fun team (that I not-so-secretly greatly wish I was a part of. 😉 I can’t wait to see/read about the next shot!
