I do like this photo. Very wintery. I had to come over to the blog to see it larger.
A La Mark Twain, The coldest winter I ever spent was March in Port Everglades Florida. I couldn’t wait to sail out of that place. It was so uncomfortably cold.

Wow, that’s surprising Clinton, I expected you to say San Francisco. 😉

I love San Francisco. It was my home port in the 60’s and my workplace in the 70’s. I was never cold there, even when it was cold. Port Everglades on the other hand was cold to the bone. We were tied up there for two weeks or so and it was cloudy like your photo and cold. Brrrr. I’m chilly just thinking about it.
On the other hand I really enjoy watching Scott and your “little” boy on the Grid. Fathers and sons are great but we all know that mothers and sons are the rock that the world rests on.
Merry Christmas to you and thank you for being what it is I like about you.

The total hush, pre-storm, and the blue light of a late afternoon with snow filled clouds above snow-covered fields – that’s winter’s magic at its peak for me. This nods to it.

I so enjoyed your description Peter that I had to read it a few times — thank you for that. Happy Holidays my friend. 🙂
